Claire graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2000 from the University of South Australia, is a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists and has obtained Pilates instructor status and membership to the Australian Pilates Method Association.
Claire has gained a wealth of physiotherapy skills and experience in both Australia and the UK in a variety of settings including: private physiotherapy/sports injury clinics, with the Australian Ballet Company, the English Women’s Golf Association, Great British Synchronised Swimming, in NHS outpatient and hand therapy departments, through acupuncture and as a Pilates instructor. She enjoys treating a range of people from the general public to non-elite as well as elite sports people. As an ex-dancer she has a keen interest in helping dancers manage and prevent injuries.
Claire has special interest in movement analysis, core stability and functional rehabilitation – she fuses her high-level physiotherapy and Pilates skills to help people return to their normal level of function and achieve their goals.
