Holly graduated with a Bachelor in Physiotherapy from Southampton University in 2001, is a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society (www.medical-acupuncture.co.uk) and is a Clinical Pilates instructor through the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI). She has accumulated a broad range of experience throughout her career in the NHS and with the Army.
After graduating from University, Holly worked for the NHS for two years before joining the Army in 2003. She then worked at the Armed Forces Rehabilitation Centre treating personnel injured on operations with multiple trauma and musculoskeletal injuries. Holly has also worked at the Royal Marines Commando Training Centre where she rehabilitated a vast number of personnel with sports and musculoskeletal injuries incurred during one of the most intensive and physically challenging courses known to the Armed Forces worldwide.
Holly is a very keen sailor and has represented the Army and Great Britain in a number of different disciplines. She was eager to apply her passion to the rehabilitation process and founded the charity ‘Toe in the Water’ which uses sailing as an extension of the rehabilitation of injured servicemen (www.toeinthewater org).
An enthusiastic and dedicated Physiotherapist, Holly’s passion lies in functional and dynamic rehabilitation, combining movement analysis, Pilates, and holistic care to help people return to their normal functional level.
