Jane Silver is a Chartered Physiotherapist, who qualified in 1985. She has worked extensively in the management of sports-related injuries of men and women at all levels of performance and in a variety of sports. Jane has worked in the NHS and the private sector in the UK and Australia , and also in Canada , where she worked in a Rehabilitation Centre and treated all aspects of industrial injuries. Jane has also undertaken postgraduate courses on ergonomics and workplace assessments.

In 1994-5 Jane trained with the Manipulative Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in working with spinal and peripheral problems. Jane has also been involved with research at Bristol University into musculoskeletal problems in patients with haemophilia which has led to publications and presentations nationally and internationally. Today Jane's special area of interest is with muscle imbalance and core stability. She has studied Clinical Pilates and is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute (APPI).
